Is it normal to think about dating the same sex?

Ok im 13 and i think about dating the same sex sometimes i mean ive always dated guys but every now and then it just pops into my head of datin a girl is this normal? i need help please! and no rude comments please What should i do about this?

Ok here goes as an open minded mom of two daughters I would say that it is completely normal to think of the same sex and dating them. I do think you should wait on dating untill you are a little bit older and know who you are. It makes it easier to date people when you know that because when you know who you are you will know what you are looking for in a person (male or female) that you potentially want to date. I hope that was not rude and I hope that helps you. But for the real question at hand about whether it is normal or not I would say yes it is. I think when you have a certain chemistry with someone you do start thinking of them more.

yes its completely normal! dont feel bad or ashamed. They are just thoughts after all. And even if you do one day have feelings for a person of the same sex, dont feel bad or ashamed of that either. You are young, hormones are raging and this is one of the many things that happens in adolescents :)

Try to block it out if you can. not going to hurt but not normal. you deserve the right guy. not a girl. your better then that. make the right choice and stick to guys.

You're pretty young to worry about dating. But it's perfectly normal to think about dating someone of the same sex.

Your thirteen. It's normal. Your hormones are everywhere right now. It's ok(:

Yes! Everyone has or does who in this world hasent? I have always when I was straight but I'm bi soo I had thoughts for reasons!

don't worry its fine. same sex has ts pros

Why aren't sixteen year old's allowed on Australian Sex Dating Sites?

If the minimum age of consent for sexual intercourse in Australia is 16, why aren't Australian 16 year old's allowed on Australian sex dating sites?

I'm sorry but in my opinion, 16 year olds don't need to be worrying about sex...

To protect you from pedophiles

because ur 16 you dont need to worry about sex

too many pedophiles

because minors are not legally able to sign the contracts that deal with paying for their services.

How did you feel when you finally started dating the same sex?

If you are gay and dated the opposite sex before dating the same sex, what was the big difference when you finally started dating someone of your gender? Were you more enthusiastic about it/stronger emotions/more satisfied/felt giddy like a teenager? How did it feel?

A feeling of relief.
Release from bad emotions.
Acceptance of myself, rather than trying to be (what I am not).
Happiness & joy, almost an enlightenment.
Rush of positive thoughts & seeing a future together with someone, long term.

Home, I felt like I was finally at home.

All of what you said...giddy, enthusiastic, stronger emotions and more satisfied. felt like a great weight was lifted off me.

Relieved..
Gosh...
I had spent so long trying to turn myself straight by dating guys.
When my X BF held my hand.. it felt like a friend.. I knew he liked me more than one, and I felt so wrong for it.
I went out with him for three months without even kissing him on the cheek.
That is when I knew for sure I could never be with a guy.
This girl.. I've been talking to her for awhile now...
I hope that.. once things progress more, we can get a bit more serious...
It just feels so right.. I'm falling for her :)
I feel satisfied.. I feel happier..
I used to feel depressed as, cause I didn't have anyone who felt the same way about me.. I was so lonely.
(Dang just check out my old Q's... I was a sad kid hahaa)

Iam BI
i never really dated the same gender but i always whanted to
when i found out i was bi i felt stronger and more emotions

I felt nothing because I haven't dated either sex. I haven't dated sh*t. FML.

All the colours shone brighter, I was happier, everything made sense!!

Very satisfied..

More relaxed & comfortable

There was a guy that I always liked, but it was way weird. Of course nothing ever happened. Anything that I ever did in my limmited experiance with men never did anything for me... making out with a guy, I might as well have been making out with a dead fish... I really just was like "omg, I want this to be over..." I was embarassed and confused because I thought that I liked him. I think because of my conservitive up-brining I subconciously started "crushing" on gay guys because I never would ever get with them... lol. For the same reason, whenever I've been asked out by a girl I get so nervous and scared. I hope that I'll be able to stop being afraid... and take the plunge someday with someone nice.

Just so so contented and able to be the real me.

Question for gay people who tried to be straight by dating the opposite sex?

just as an fyi, I am not gay but am completely supportive of gay rights.

did you have any feelings, at all, for the person (of the opposite sex) you were dating?

seriously, honest opinions please.
thank you!

Yes, it wasn't just platonic either, it was quite romantic.. actually. The only thing that got in the way of keeping the relationship going was sexual tension.

Feelings, yes, Not enough to prevent me from letting things dissolve as I came to accept myself. In most cases, those feelings prompt me to check in about this time of year and make sure they're alright. They don't know I'm gay, but I still feel a certain obligation to make sure that life is going as well as I can for form.

So far, they're doing very well. Two are married with children, (fortunately none of mine,) on is getting deep into AA, and if that's what works for her, I'm more than happy for her.

D

I tried to date a boy but I only had feelings for him as a friend. When I told him he was upset but very accenting and told me I was either to young or was a lesbian.
And I've been dating girls ever since.

every girl i hav ever dated just seemed like a close friend to me nothing closer i did not feel any sexual attraction to them but i did care about them just not for them

Does same sex dating have the same complications?

I have only ever dated heterosexual style (so to speak) and aside from the sex, i find it so frustrating! Why hasn't he called, he used to take me on dates now we always stay in, what did he mean when he said this or that, blah blah blah we all know what it is like to date and that men and woman are an enigma to each other. So my question is do these things come up in same sex dating - or do you just "get" each other and know what is going on between the two of you without having to say anything?

Very much so. We have the same issues as everyone else. If you are looking for the best sex dating site, check out this site:

adult frindfinder/

it's the best site and free to join.

yes, hell yes

lol we are human just like you. We all have problems... yes same sex relationships come with the same issues... why hasn't she called, is she cheating on me, blah blah

we are fighting over who gets to wear the diamond engagement ring..it's mine all mine damn it

Sure, the same sorts of things can happen. You have to kiss a few frogs before you find your Prince Charming.

The bullsh*t factor is completely cut out. No faying sensitivity, or taking him out to dinner, just belt buckles hitting the floor. Bend him over, lift up the peek-a-boo flap on his chaps, slap a beer on his back, and go to town. "Don't make me beg f*cker, don't make me BEG!

When you're done you can roll over and talk about football.

ha of course we have the same frustrations, it can be so annoying trust me my gf can play headgames like noone i know. but i love and i get over it

Dating is dating..no matter what sex you are dating. There will always be issues unfortunately. The good thing is that when you meet the right person..it will flow smoothly and things will be good!
